Study Material for the Four-Month Courses

Teaching/studying is based on the following materials:

  • Comprehensive handouts developed by CfBS which contain all the Learning Outcome Statements (LOS) and the corresponding concepts.
  • Questions compiled by CfBS.
  • The Candidate Readings of CFA Institute and the Schweser Study Notes (optional) which summarize the Candidate Readings.

In order to prepare for class students are required to read the Candidate Readings and/or the Schweser Study Notes. During the lessons CfBS will use its own study material to explain and practice the concepts. This approach ensures that the material is presented from a different angle and that students receive maximum added value.

The CfBS handouts are a summary of the CFA curriculum and can be used to efficiently review the curriculum in the final stages of the exam preparation.

 

Study Material for the Five-Day Intensive Review Courses

Teaching/studying is based on the following materials:

  • Handouts developed by CfBS.
  • Questions compiled by CfBS.
  • The Candidate Readings of CFA Institute and the Schweser Study Notes (optional) which summarize the Candidate Readings.

In order to benefit fully from the course, candidates should read the relevant topics ahead of the review classes using the Candidate Readings of CFA Institute and/or the Schweser Study Notes. During the lessons the critical and most difficult exam topics will be explained and practiced based on CfBS handouts and questions. This approach ensures that the material is presented from a different perspective and that students receive maximum added value.

Study Material for the On-line Courses

Teaching/studying is based on the following materials:

  • Comprehensive handouts developed by CfBS which contain all the Learning Outcome Statements (LOS), corresponding concepts, and questions.
  • Candidate Readings of CFA Institute

In order to prepare the on-line sessions students are advised to read the Candidate Readings. During the on-line sessions the CFA curriculum will be explained using CfBS handouts which can be downloaded before the start of the respective class.
