Courses / Pre-Level I / CFA
"The exam-relevant concepts were very well explained and visualized with an excellent structure and within the context of interrelationships. In addition, the preparation course motivated me to maintain my self-discipline. Generally speaking, CfBS provided real added value."
Matthias Siegenthaler, CFA, UBS AG, Zurich
Learning Approach
CfBS Center for Business Studies follows CFA Institute Prep Provider Guidelines.
CfBS has developed a learning approach that helps candidates digest the breadth and complexity of the material over a prolonged period of six months. The pre-level I course (available as live and on-line course) which precedes the live four-month course covers the fundamental concepts of the CFA program such as capital market theory, valuation principles of fixed income and equity securities, introduction to financial statement analysis and corporate finance, as well as the fundamentals of economics.
The course is also open to non-CFA candidates who are interested in acquiring a basic understanding in finance/banking.
