CAIA Live Online Classes

Introduction

  • CAIA Level I (September 2024 Exam)

    CAIA Level I Live Online Course 
    The Level I live online class begins on 4 June 2024 and runs until 27 August 2024. It will be given on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 18.45 to 21.30 hrs. CET. The course allows participants to attend from home (saving travel time and expense) but still offers plenty of opportunity to interact with the lecturer. The class size is limited to a maximum of 15 participants. Classes will be held according to a defined schedule. The 4 hours computer-based Level I exam can be taken in the period from 2 to 13 September 2024.

    The online course is structured in accordance with the Learning Objectives (LOs). The live online sessions offer comprehensive and detailed coverage of the exam material and help candidates to strengthen their understanding of difficult concepts. 
    To attend the live online classes participants use their own desktop computer or notebook, have internet access, and use possibly a headset with microphone in order to be able to interact with the lecturer. The classes will be recorded (MP4 podcasts) allowing course participants to revisit all explanations and to make up for any missed classes. 

    This online program offers candidates both flexibility and a structured approach to their exam preparation. The online course offers the following features: 1) 60 lessons of live teaching  given by experienced lecturers. 2) Downloadable handouts which contain all the Learning Objectives (LOs), corresponding concepts, and exam-type questions. The handouts are a summary of the CAIA curriculum and can be used as a supplement to the Curriculum Books. 3) Computer-based trial exam. 4) Online access to the recorded classes. 5) Online forum to exchange questions with lecturers.

    Course guarantee: Students who do not pass the exam after attending our CAIA level I live online course can re-enroll for the next CAIA level I live online course at a substantial discount of 70%. This course guarantee reflects our commitment to the success of our students at the CAIA exams.

Study Material

Teaching/studying is based on the following material:

  • Comprehensive handouts developed by CfBS which contain all the Learning Objectives and the corresponding concepts.
  • Questions compiled by CfBS.
  • The CAIA curriculum readings of the CAIA Association and/or the Schweser Study Notes (optional) which summarize the curriculum readings.

CfBS has developed comprehensive handouts containing all Learning Objectives, corresponding concepts and questions. This study material will be used during the lessons to explain and practice the concepts. The handouts are a summary of the CAIA curriculum and can be used to efficiently review the curriculum in the final stages of the exam preparation. In order to prepare for the course students can either use the CAIA curriculum readings of the CAIA Association and/or the Schweser Study Notes (optional).
