Hubert is head of the Finance Department at SUVA. He has received a Ph.D. in elementary particle physics from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich. He is a CFA charterholder as well as a FRM (Financial Risk Manager) of GARP. After a post-graduate doctoral research position at the Berkeley National Laboratory in the U.S., he started his professional career as a risk analyst working on dynamic financial analysis and credit risk models at Zurich Reinsurance before becoming an underwriter for non-traditional reinsurance.
